[ROPE COURSE] VANCIAVENTURE, A TAILOR-MADE CHALLENGE - PART 1
The management of the Vanciaventure park, a French adventure park located near Lyon, has renewed its confidence in our team for the creation of two new tree climbing courses in the moat of the fortress.
A tailor-made course
The park already has 8 tree climbing courses including 3 in the moats. So we thought about new workshops to bring diversity and novelty.
The course is secured by a Coudou Pro lifeline - ZAZA2.
We decided to play with the configuration of the site: arches, inclined walls, crossings, low walls.
We have also mixed the materials: wood, metal, rope. We added color with red wire rope.
Result: Via Ferrata crossings, swings, a rolling trapeze, barrels, stilts, ...
The participant alternates between games of balance, climbing, zip line.
A 3D conception
We built the project on a 3D software with several objectives:
- better communication with the customer - it is easier to exchange with a precise visual on the choice of games, the characteristics of the course.
- anticipation of technical issues: each part is designed in its final environment. The modules can be produced in the workshop under conditions guaranteeing quality and efficiency.
- more accurate costing: each part is designed. Production costs are therefore identified and controlled.
A multi-skilled team
This kind of project relies on a multi-disciplinary team. The mix of skills allows us to carry out atypical projects with controlled costs and deadlines.

Our workshop is made up of experienced carpenters. They work with wood, wire and ropes in our workshop. They are equipped with several machine tools (spindle moulder, planer, press, etc.)
We subcontract metal parts to local partners.
Our qualified rope access technicians have solid construction experience. They rely on the plans provided by our design office to bring the project to life. They adapt to real constraints.
Their expertise makes it possible to guarantee a safe and comfortable course for participants.
The project is also made possible by our commercial and administrative team.
