[Net course] - A first adventure course without PPE in Vietnam!
Vietnam's First Adventure Park Without PPE
An Adventure Park at the Heart of an Exceptional Natural Site

Located in a remarkable natural setting, the Datanla Waterfalls site, just outside Da Lat, is one of the most visited tourist destinations in southern Vietnam. Renowned for its spectacular scenery and natural appeal, it draws large crowds every year — nature lovers, leisure seekers, and curious explorers alike.
As a major player in local tourism, Dalattourist operates several iconic sites across the region and focuses its development on innovative experiences accessible to the widest possible audience.
It is within this vision that the group entrusted Amazone Adventure with the design and construction of a new PPE-free adventure park, seamlessly integrated into this exceptional site.
Diversifying the Tourist Experience With a PPE-Free Course
Installing an adventure park on such a high-traffic site represents a genuine opportunity for diversification. The project had a twofold goal:
- to enhance the visitor experience through a fun and immersive activity,
- to broaden the audience by offering an activity accessible to everyone, with no technical requirements.
The choice of a nets course — featuring net seas, suspended walkways, and treetop platforms — allows visitors to move freely through the canopy, without harnesses or carabiners. Safety is ensured here through passive systems (nets, guardrails, handrails), guaranteeing a smooth, intuitive, and reassuring experience.
- Accessible to children, teenagers, adults, and seniors
- No physical prerequisites
- Perfectly suited for family outings
The Challenges of an International Project
Keys to Success: Anticipation, Organisation, and Rigour
Delivering this project abroad required meticulous organisation and precise planning at every stage:
- shipping construction materials and managing customs clearance,
- remote coordination of teams,
- transportation and return of the necessary construction equipment,
- building a skilled and motivated rope access team for a long-term assignment abroad.
Adhering to a Tight Schedule
Managing an international construction site also demands close communication with local teams and a constant ability to adapt to technical and logistical constraints.
To meet a critical deadline — opening the park before Chinese New Year — the Amazone Adventure teams demonstrated exceptional commitment and responsiveness to stay on schedule as set by Dalattourist. The park was built entirely in just 6 weeks!
All of these challenges were successfully met, ensuring the delivery of an adventure park that fully met the project's expectations and requirements.
A Design Adapted to Local Practices
Building this project in Vietnam also proved to be a genuine cultural encounter. Working alongside local teams gave Amazone Adventure a deeper understanding of visitor expectations and allowed the park's design to be tailored accordingly. This collaboration, marked by an excellent working relationship despite the language barrier, greatly enriched the human side of the project.
In Vietnam, photography plays an important role in the tourist experience. To meet this expectation, several photo spots were built directly into the nets course and the treetop platforms. These spaces offer privileged viewpoints over the natural landscape while blending seamlessly into the park's overall structure.

An Aerial Adventure Open to All
The park's design features:
- a net sea,
- suspended walkway zones,
- various treetop platforms allowing visitors to roam freely while taking in the surrounding environment,
- slides and net chimneys connecting the ground to the treetops.
Two Complementary Zones for Every Audience
The park is made up of two distinct aerial leisure zones, catering to different types of visitors.
The first zone, more accessible, takes the form of a labyrinthine nets course designed for children. It offers a safe and easy-to-navigate space, complemented by several integrated photo spots. It is mainly composed of wooden walkways to ensure accessibility for the greatest number of visitors. Slides add a playful touch but are not mandatory.
The second zone is geared towards families seeking a more immersive and engaging experience. It includes a net sea as well as a canopy course that allows visitors to move freely above the ground across several treetop platforms. This section of the adventure park was also designed to be visible from the road, enhancing the site's overall appeal.
A Rational and Sustainable Construction
A Scalable Design
The park was designed with scalability in mind, anticipating growth in visitor numbers over time. Our approach aims to offer clients a long-term vision of their site's potential. We recommend starting with a manageable installation to limit the initial investment, then gradually expanding the park based on visitor feedback and demand.
The park was therefore conceived to integrate fully into its natural environment while offering real room for future development. Particular care was taken to highlight this new leisure offering. The variety of activities available allows the park to welcome a wide and diverse audience. Finally, certain structures were deliberately made visible from the roads below to boost the site's attractiveness. Through their thoughtful landscaping integration, the installations bring genuine added value to the location.
Environmentally Responsible Technical Solutions
In order to respect the environment in which we work, we place great importance on the materials used, favouring sustainable design practices.
Particular attention was paid to preserving the trees and the natural environment, through the use of solutions such as:
- the Uniclou,
- growth anchors, which respect the natural growth of the trees.
This approach is part of an overarching commitment to sustainability, also applied to the equipment itself. The nets installed on the net seas and courses are designed for intensive use, with a lifespan of up to five to seven years depending on visitor traffic, with no heavy maintenance required. We provide repair patches to extend their service life and reduce environmental impact.
