[Rope Course] Amazone Adventure & Vanciaventure: 10 Years of Collaboration
A decade of partnership dedicated to an adventure park
An immersive and safe experience within a historic site
Since the opening of the Vanciaventure adventure park in 2015, Amazone Adventure has supported the Fort de Vancia team in the creation, development, and maintenance of their rope course. Located within a historic military site, the park takes advantage of a unique environment made of ramparts, moats, and fortifications.
Over the years, our partnership has strengthened around a shared vision: delivering an immersive, safe adventure experience that respects this remarkable heritage. Meanwhile, Amazone Adventure has continued to expand its expertise through international projects and technical innovations, such as the development of sustainable construction techniques with the Le Clou system or the design of themed adventure parks.
This continuous progress directly fuels the quality of our collaboration with Vanciaventure for the past 10 years.
An exceptional adventure park at the heart of a historic fort

The Fort de Vancia offers a truly unique adventure playground thanks to its military architecture surrounded by woodland.
Vanciaventure’s courses run above and through the moats, along the ramparts, and inside the fortifications, creating an experience where nature, stone, and acrobatic structures blend seamlessly. Some sections also run through the forested areas, forming a genuine mineral/vegetal mix.
To design installations perfectly adapted to such an atypical environment, we developed specific technical solutions.
3D modeling played a key role in creating anchors and modules tailored precisely to the structure. By working with the inherent constraints of the fort, we were able to imagine unique activities that use the ramparts as true “play elements,” in a style reminiscent of via ferrata.
Unique and secure installations
The activities are no longer simply suspended from cables: wooden or steel structures now serve as the foundation for these new modules. Each element was specifically engineered by our design office. Calculation notes and on-site anchor tests were carried out to ensure the highest level of safety.
2026 Intervention: A new chapter in this shared adventure
Amazone Adventure returned at the beginning of 2026 for improvement and maintenance work on the park. Over two weeks, our teams completed:
- Construction of a new platform on the ramparts, enhancing monitoring conditions for both operators and visitors.
- General refurbishment of the park to maintain high standards of safety and comfort for visitors
- Maintenance of the installations, including a thorough inspection of anchors, cables, activities, and lifelines
- Supply of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), along with technical recommendations to ensure optimal operations
This latest intervention reflects a collaboration built on stability, transparency, and a shared desire to enhance the park while preserving its identity.

A multi‑activity adventure park near Lyon
Today, Vanciaventure offers:
- 9 treetop adventure courses, including zip lines and routes inside the moats for a unique experience
- A commando course for adults
- Several escape games, including a fully immersive 500 m² experience
