Four‑Season Mountain Leisure & Adventure Park Solutions

Fun and sustainable facilities for four‑season resorts

Faced with the new challenges posed by global warming, ski resorts are confronting a major challenge: becoming attractive year-round.

Declining snowfall is pushing us to envision a new model—one that is more diverse and appealing in both summer and winter.

Our mission?

To offer mountain resorts alternatives by introducing attractive, sustainable activities that are accessible to everyone, all year round.

Why a mountain offer?

Global warming is forcing mountain resorts to diversify their activities. To remain competitive and profitable, resorts must attract families and local residents.

Specific constraints

Mountainous regions are sensitive natural environments subject to severe natural constraints. Structures must withstand significant climatic variations: snow, frost, sun, and wind.

We have worked in extreme environments such as Russia and Norway, as well as Spain and Japan.

We adapt our construction techniques and materials to suit these specific climates.

Most of our activities can be enjoyed in both summer and winter, offering an alternative to the lack of snow for mid-mountain resorts.

The topography of the sites generally presents significant challenges in terms of elevation changes and accessibility.

We need to turn these challenges into strengths by offering activities that take advantage of the terrain’s elevation and unevenness.

Our design for rope courses offers an engaging experience that makes use of varying levels, with activities both on the ground and in the trees.

with great potential

How beautiful the mountains are!

The mountains are attracting more and more summer tourists seeking cool temperatures, tranquility, and nature.

The wooden giants are an excellent marketing tool for drawing visitors to your resort. They serve as a symbol of your identity and have a strong visual impact for your social media communications.

Our rope courses are suitable for a wide audience—whether athletic or not—looking for fun or contemplative activities.

Our facilities aim to highlight the natural heritage of the area. Our activities blend seamlessly into the existing environment.

We aim to showcase the proposed site with iconic, Instagram-worthy features.

Tangible benefits for local regions

Optimized cost-effectiveness for municipalities thanks to low operating costs:

  • minimal supervision = fewer operators,
  • no PPE equipment (harnesses, carabiners, etc.) = no equipment investment or management.

An inclusive experience for everyone, featuring activities accessible to all:

  • families (children, teens, parents, grandparents),
  • adult-only trips featuring thrilling activities or opportunities to reconnect with nature,
  • business trips (hosting corporate seminars).

Responsible and sustainable design:

  • reversible installations,
  • with minimal environmental impact,
  • and a reasonable carbon footprint.

Four-season tourism in mid-mountain regions

In 2019, the resort of Aillons-Margériaz in Savoie launched a “four-season tourism” initiative, introducing new and innovative activities to boost its appeal to tourists and attract local families.

This diversification led to the creation of Le Pays Suspendu des Géants adventure park. This aerial adventure park, which does not require personal protective equipment (PPE), features recreational areas on the ground and in the trees via net courses. A narrative centered on the Giant of Bauges was developed to create an immersive experience.

Other examples in mid-mountain regions:

  • The Besse resort in Auvergne, opening in 2024 - Domaine Pertuyzat-Pavin (2024)
  • The Font d'Urle resort (Stations de la Drôme) in 2023 - Accrokid (2024)

A common approach: adding a theme

Most of the resorts we have worked with have chosen to incorporate a theme to enhance their appeal and ground the project in a specific setting. This themed approach to Adventure parks offers many advantages and is well-suited to the challenges of mountain regions.

As part of this initiative, we have collaborated with:

Our tips for a smooth transition to the four-season season

Here are our tips for launching a four-season diversification project:

  • Create an observation area immersed in the canopy with customized observation platforms & treehouses

  • Give visitors unique experience in the forest or above the water thanks to the ziplines course. (Allow to make ski lifts profitable)

  • Set up a space to take a break with suspended hammocks, and specific nets
  • Add a recreative area with playground and activities for children, without specific equipement

  • Make a thematic trail with giant wood sculptures several meters high. Boost your identity!
