What is a Wooden Giant?
A wooden giant is a monumental wooden structure designed to highlight a tourist attraction, a playground, or a recreational park (adventure park, zoo, etc.). The wooden giant is an effective storytelling tool. Its size and originality make it a distinctive feature and an effective communication tool.
Our Wooden Giants can take many forms: a character, an object, a text, a brand, a concept... They can incorporate interactive elements, serve as furniture, or simply be visual pieces.
Custom-made from wood, they are one-of-a-kind. Special care is taken to ensure they blend seamlessly into their final setting.

How to Build a Wooden Giant
A unique and customizable project
Our wooden giants are the result of a collaborative design process with the client. Here are the key steps:
- defining objectives and the installation site, establishing a budget,
- creating a scope of work,
- seeking inspiration / benchmarking – developing the narrative,
- initial sketches, selecting materials and finishes,
- developing the concept and defining the final form,
- structural and technical studies,
- fabrication in the workshop,
- on-site installation.
We use 3D design tools to get a realistic preview of the final result and take all technical constraints into account.
Designed and manufactured locally in France
Your Wooden Giant is entirely crafted in our workshop in the Drôme region. We prefer untreated woods such as acacia, Douglas fir, and chestnut. The finishes are customizable, from the paint to the accessories. We take special care to ensure the product’s durability.
The structure is then assembled on-site by our installation team. We check every joint to ensure the safety of the installation.
All our wooden giants
Six wooden giants were designed and installed by Amazone Adventure, two of which are interactive. Development projects are currently underway.
