Freedom rope course
Children's courses without PPE are courses installed at less than 1 m from the ground. They allow to practice the activity "rope course" freely, without personal protective equipment (PPE).
They are composed of challenges adapted to children (bridges, rolling games, tree house, ...).
Theirs strengths :
- No equipment = no time lost by your operators,
- Unlimited practice = to occupy your customers in case of high attendance,
- Privileged moments shared between parents / children => parents accompany the evolution of their child from the ground,
- All the benefits of tree climbing for children => discovery of emptiness, devellopement of balance, self-confidence, taste challenge, and physical activity!
Which regulations?
The standard NF EN 15667-1 from July 2015 “Open air sporting equipment and activities – Treetop Parks "(§4-3-5-2 Requirements) allows to have no security system when the users have their feet less than one meter from the ground.However, the soil and the fall space must comply with EN 1176-1.
Let's not forget that a rope course must have limited access and adequate supervision. The rules concerning surpervision, security, controls, ... must be respected.
